About this product Heat Protection Bond Builder Lipid Shield replenishes lost essential oils that coat each strand of hair, protecting the cuticle from dryness and damage caused by factors such as UV rays and heat. The fast-absorbing, non-greasy formula mimics the hair's natural lipid shield and contains biomimetic ingredients and lightweight oils to restore the hair's first line of defence and protect bonds in the cortex. View more How to apply Shake well before use. Tilt the bottle slightly and tap the bottom to release 5 to 6 drops into the palm of your hand. Apply to towel-dried hair from the middle to the ends. Short, fine or untreated hair may require fewer drops. Long, coarse or heavily treated hair may require more. Start with a smaller amount and add more as needed. Use every 2 to 3 washes to restore the hair's lipid layer. If your hair is very dry or damaged, you may need to apply it more frequently. If the ends feel particularly dry, 1 to 2 drops can be distributed throughout the hair after styling. It is also possible to apply the product to dry hair and leave it on overnight, then wash it out in the morning.
